I don't think I'd take anything out - some of the lines could've been shortened a bit, but that was how they spoke back then. I can see why you would say scene 5 seems irrelevant, but actually, that's the first introduction of the Hecate (pardon me if I'm wrong) and the Hecate scolds the witches in the scene for doing evil without including her. The plans are made for the Hecate to meet Macbeth in this scene - it leads up to the part with the apparitions - sort of the last straw.
All in all, I think the act is fine.
